Cash incentives to bar topnotchers and passers in the amount of PhP20,000.00 and PhP10,000.00, respectively, were approved by the Committee on Youth Affairs, Sports Development and Physical Fitness of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) of General Santos City (Gensan) on Monday.

The proposed cash incentive will amend Section 4 of City Ordinance No. 1 series of 2017, which presently only allows cash incentives to Gensan residents who secure a spot in the top 10 of the bar examinations.

Once approved by a majority of the members of SP Gensan, the proposed amendment shall be submitted to the city mayor for approval.
